Empowered Witches Summit

Nestled between the Dark of the forest and the Light of the field, lies the Hedge - a shaded space where fiercely thorned brambles and toothy wild plants thrive. This class introduces several of the beloved Plant Folk who dwell in this Shadowy Realm and offer us safe passage as we face our own murky depths. We will focus on plant allies and essences which support our efforts to bravely meet and dynamically engage with shadowy aspects such as shame, fear, grief, rage, despair and relational woundings.

This live virtual event will be taking place September 23-27, 2024, the week of the autumn equinox in the northern hemisphere - the perfect time for gathering, sharing wisdom and gratitude, and breaking (virtual) bread together.

It’s totally FREE to attend and features an incredible lineup of witches, astrologers, and authors. For more information, check out the event page at The Witch of Lupine Hollow.

Swamp Time

~What? A time to come together for venting and brainstorming in community. This is not an organized class, clinic, or workshop, but a gently held space for folks to get honest and curious about their obstacles and challenges, for laughing and crying, with the hope and expectation that Community will do its thing and lead to some amazing support and brainstorming.
~Why? Because trying to milk a living from this country’s unforgiving teat is both a delight and a horror and it’s better not to go it alone.
~Who? Small and Micro business owners ~ if you own a brick and mortar store with a few employees, have a private practice, ‘solopreneur’ it, sell old socks online, or eggs on the side of the road. Hustlers, part timers, full timers, side-giggers, market goers ~ you get the idea!
~Where? The Every Light Office / Heathen Haven at 1088 Prescott Road in Manchester, ME. It’s a cozy white building with me inside…
~How Much? It’s free, but bring a snack to share! Or bring your favorite food and don’t feel like you have to share! It’s all good.

I’m Andi, a weed of a person and serial small business owner. I’ve started and maintained several small business, worked for many and have had the privilege to work with many business owners over the years. For the last handful of years I’ve been in private practice as your friendly Neighborhood Astroherbalist.
Beside having some years of experience under my belt, I’m good at holding space for human souls and the bodies they haunt, who’d like to be at peace with their ghosts rather than being tormented by them.

A Planetary Herbal

You’ve stared up at the night sky, you’ve tracked the dance of planets through horoscopes and transit charts and perhaps now find yourself longing to have a deeper, more personal, more tangible relationship with these celestial beings.

Did you know that, like us, plants have horoscopes? Shaped by the same energetic influences, they bear the imprint and energies of the Cosmos, growing in your front yard. We may never reach Mars, but we can experience its sharp heat through the nettle plant!

This workshop explores the foundations of the Seven Planets and some Plant Folk who, in my experience and opinion, mirror their energy and being. Each planet and plant discussed will be accompanied by a recipe or activity to help us physically engage with both our celestial and terrestrial community. They include crafting a lunar massage oil over the course of the lunar cycle, blending Saturnian smoke medicine to use for ritual observance (or enjoy after a long day), and making a very special flower essence to honor boundaries - the “skin of all things.”

Registrants will receive a recording of the workshop as well as a booklet with notes, instructions and recipes.

THIS IS A VIRTUAL WORKSHOP; Students must have an audio- and video-enabled laptop, desktop, or tablet with reliable internet to participate in class. We do not recommend using a smartphone.

Cost is $35

A Desert Island Herbal

A Desert Island Herbal

How often did we play the 'desert island challenge' in grade school and spend hours agonizing over which five books or three favorite foods we'd want with us? The game continues...

I've been asked which herbs I'd want with me on a desert island so often that I went and made an entire workshop about it. July's "cheap & casual" Zoom meet will be an in-depth discussion of the five AMAZING herbs on my Desert Island List. The best way to learn about herbs? Start slow, start small. Be thorough. Get to know them in their wholeness.

I like to say that, for daily applications at least, you don't need to know a few facts about a hundred different herbs, it really works to know a hundred things about a few herbs.

Here are my most reached for friends; the folks on my shelves, in my emergency bag and probably somewhere on my person! Let's chat about WHY these are my forever answer to that age old question, and how you too can develop a confident working relationship with a handful of allies perfectly suited to your desert island needs.

The Deets:

Sunday July 30th

6:00pm-8:00pm

$10 {if this amount is prohibitive for you, please let me know. No one will be turned away for lack of funds}

All registrants will receive a recording of the workshop as well as any notes and handouts offered.

Finding North
Jul

Finding North

One of my favorite ways to engage with my birth chart {beside using it as permission to assert my Scorpio-ness at every opportunity} is as a wayfinding tool. Wayfinding is the art of knowing where you are and where you've been so that you can get to where you're going. It's staying in alignment with your Path regardless of the ever-shifting cosmic landscape, incidental detours and our own life's distractions. When I'm feeling disoriented or I find myself at a crossroads and have a hard time choosing a direction, I like to take out my chart and recalibrate. I also do this around my birthday, at the start of a new project, or when I read a post online that makes me question every life choice I've ever made {you know the kind}.

In this workshop, I'm hoping to offer you some tips and tricks for wayfinding with your own birth chart using five placements that make up an energetic compass of sorts. Bring your chart, we'll look at it together and see what's to be seen.

This is a 90-120 minute workshop, depending on folks' participation. Everyone will get a copy of their birth chart {if you want one, be sure to let me know your accurate birth date, time and place!!} as well as a handy-dandy worksheet you can take home and use in your wayfinding work FOREVER.

The Deets:

Cost $30 {financially supported seats available upon request}

This is a live class in Blue Hill, Maine, hosted by The Nurtured Life.

Address provided upon registration.

in a cave where gods can't see

The SIXTH in this utterly delightful {for me at least!!} series of "Cheap & Casual" Zoom workshops is "in a cave where gods can't see - a divergent perspective on Chiron in the birth chart".
I can't say that I'm able to offer much of an elevated, poetic, mythic perspective on Chiron. My experience with this energy has been bloody at best, my arms are covered in scars from where it has clawed at me, my belly has long been sore from its umbilical attachment. It is the prism through which my vital force has fractured itself in the most gorgeous and terrible ways. I am not the one to offer answers, but if you would like to take part in a compassionate conversation about holding Chiron with softer hands, you are most welcome to join us.
We'll be exploring some of the most traditional ideas of Chiron, as well as some divergent perspectives. I would love to walk through the way the elements express Chiron, as well as how I've seen Chiron react in relationship with other planetary beings in our charts. It is also my hope to offer some plant allies I have worked alongside to bring ease to our handling of this often bruised placement.

Bring your birth chart if you would like to {if you need help finding one - let me know, I can help!} but it is not required. And, as always, if you have questions, please feel free to reach out.

Date: Saturday, June 10th
Time: 10am-12pm
Price: ten dollars / free for Junkyard Alligator Folks
Location: Zoom, with a recording provided for all

Dynamis Zoom Workshop
May

Dynamis Zoom Workshop

This may be the most unusual workshop I've offered and I'm here for it!
Literally - I'll be teaching it and therefore the most HERE I can humanly be.

If you're looking for a challenging and somewhat divergent perspective on developing a working relationship with Plant and Planetary energies, you may consider joining us, or at least registering so as to get the recording.

~ Engaging with the energetic echoes radiating from your own unique birth chart
~ How to explore and strengthen relationship with planetary expressions energies you *don't* have in your birth chart
~ Working with planets in their various dignities {explore the nuance involved in planets "at home", "in detriment" and "in fall"}
~ Plant allies that support such workings and wonderings
~ Shepherding shifts using astroherbal sigils

Is this a workshop to teach you how to 'do magic'? Not really, no. This is a short waltz through one strange mind that will hopefully inspire you to explore yet another facet of your relationship to the plant and planetary communities. My favorite part of my work with folks is watching them put their hands on the Wheel - perhaps for the first time - and start Engaging. Sometimes that looks like taking an herbal supplement, sometimes it looks like changing jobs, sometimes it looks like shifting one thought in their mind with a flower essence, sometimes it looks like channeling Mars in Cancer with a sigil drawn on a bay leaf in their shoe before their day in court.

I'm a very commonplace, hedge-dwelling individual who is only able to teach that which I know. It is my goal to offer information with accessible depth - I hope that the rawest souls are able to grasp information that supports their growth, and I hope that well-seasoned souls find thoughts that challenge and sharpen what they already Know.

*Saturday, May 13th
*Zoom
*10:00am-11:30am
*$10 to register; all those who register will receive a copy of the recorded Zoom class and the multi-page pdf handout
*Message me to sign up!

Hands-On Shifts

I’m so very excited for the class I’m offering with @themagickmakers in March.
‘Time’ may be something of a social construct, but energetic and seasonal shifts are as real as it gets! If you’ve ever felt resistance, discomfort or disgruntlement when it’s time to move from one state to another - whether it’s settling into Autumn after Summer, adjusting to a change in daily activity, moving into a different time of life, or simply shifting from Sunday to Monday morning- our Plant and Planetary communities have a great deal of wisdom and support to offer.
The ‘Shifting’ is a potent place, this workshop will explore some ways we can work with plant allies, flower essences and rituals to engage with intention and ease.

For more information, and to register, visit The Magick Maker’s Website: Hands-On Shifts Workshop with Andrea Webb — The Magick Makers

Herbal Recipes for Mind and Mood

You asked for another "cheap & casual" workshop and I said,
"Oh Hell Yeah..."
February 25th, my fellows.
Join us live or enjoy the recording of this casual workshop focused on herbal allies to support your Mind & Mood.
We'll be in my kitchen again, brewing up some herbal infusions, formulating tincture blends and even creating some topical preparations.
If you've ever googled "herbs for stress" and then been overwhelmed by the results, or tried to work with an herb that was "supposed" to help you chill out but ended up doing the opposite (or nothing at all!), if you've ever wondered which herbs prefer to be in a tea rather than a tincture, or wanted to find a couple of plant allies that are aligned with your unique energy and needs - you may want to check this out.
The workshop will be recorded and sent to everyone who registers along with a printable download with plant profiles, notes, techniques and formulas.
Come as you are - in pajamas, eating breakfast, or even at a later date. I may show up looking like some kind of hobo-homesteader, but that's part of the charm of it all...

*Saturday, February 25th
*10:00am-12:00pm EST
*Register by messaging me, or by sending $10 via Venmo (@EveryLightWellness) or PayPal (everylightwellness@gmail.com)
*If you would like to sponsor spot, you are most welcome to! We were able to offer several free seats to folks last time and it really worked out well, THANK YOU!!!
*If you need a sponsored spot, let me know and we'll hook you up.
*Recordings will be sent to folks who register *only*. It will not be sold afterwards.
*Got questions?? I've got answers!! (about this workshop, that is - I can't promise I have answers for a damn thing otherwise)
*See you there!

Hey there, fellow DIY enthusiast. I'm pleased to announce this online workshop that will {hopefully} be the start of something strange and wonderful.
A two-hour, $10 workshop offered through Zoom, attend in your pjs at the kitchen table or watch the recording {because there will be one...} at your leisure.
I'm curious to see how this will manifest itself as we poke at it and work with it!
Here's the vision - I'm going to set my camera up in my own kitchen {duh, duh, duuuuuuh} and teach while actually doing the things I'm talking about - make a salve, a tea, a syrup and a tincture, etc. I'll even share what I'm planning on making before so, if you want, you can have some things on hand and we can pretend we're in the *same* kitchen doing it *together*. Questions welcomed.
Or, we'll be recording, so you can go back at some point and rewatch it as you're doing your own thing in your own kitchen. There's also a multi-page, overly detailed pdf printable with notes, recipes, technique & instructions, and some other stuff thrown in for good measure, if that's more your learning style.
Because I like big notes, and I cannot lie.
There is fun here, if we want it, and the Aquarian sort of online fellowship so many of us are so very grateful for in these tremendous days of our collective "Find Out" era.
